Courtney Comeau/ Owner/Head Trainer
Bedford native, Courtney Comeau has been riding horses since she was eight years old. She has a BS in Equine Industry and Management from UNH. Courtney has taught jumping lessons at UNH under the supervision of Liz Oertel and an advanced dressage class under the supervision of Sarah Hamilton.
Throughout her college career, she traveled every spring to Belgium. There she rode and groomed for several eventing riders on the Belgium Olympic Eventing Team, including five-time Olympic Eventer Karin Donckers and Joris VanSpringel. In 2012 she groomed at the London Olympic Games for Joris VanSpringel. Her most recent trip in 2013 included grooming at the European Championships for Belgium rider Lisa Sabbe. During this trip overseas, she competed at the "M" level, which is equivalent to Preliminary/Intermediate level eventing in the USA.
Courtney now competes her own horse in the jumper ring.
Emily Holmes/ Assistant Trainer
Emily fell in love with being around horses when she started at 7 years old. She has been riding for over 20 years. She has competed in school and Area events. A highlight of her early career was a 10 day riding excursion in England through the Devon Moore.
Currently she has been involved in show jumping, working with a training horse that she has brought up to 1m. Her true passion is eventing which she's also introducing her training horse to! She also has a 19 yr.old Paint/Percheron cross who has competed through the intermediate level and has completed the CIC2. Emily teaches beginner and intermediate students on Thursdays and Saturdays. She currently works at Easter Seals as a therapist for adults with mental health issues and intellectual disabilities.
The Barn
CoComeau Equestrian services include private and group lessons, off-farm lessons, leasing, training, camps and coaching. Courtney also offers "Lesson Board" which is a reduced board for eligible horses that are safe to use in lessons.

Facilities
CoComeau Equestrian offers full board and lesson board with 16, 12x12 stalls, varying sized paddocks, an indoor arena, a large 65x200 outdoor arena with GGT footing and neighboring fields to ride in. Abutting the farm are miles of trails through Pulpit Rock Conservation Land. Inside the barn CoComeau, offers a hot/cold wash stall, a rest room with a shower, heated tack rooms, and more. CoComeau boarders can rest assured with the owner and barn manager living on property as well as a wireless security camera system.
